Mental health is closer to everyone than we sometimes dare to believe. I have friends and family that have struggled with mental health and I had my own personal journey to overcome with the help of York Mind.

I am going to do a 9 day trek in the himalayas next year to raise money for York Mind. I will walk with other fundraisers at 3000m altitude (facing my fear of heights). I’m setting myself this challenge to raise awareness for mental health and support the amazing work York Mind does to combat the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and help make a real difference to individuals close by who are in need of support.
