Our beloved Dad, husband, father in law and Grandad, Wally was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly after suffering a cardiac arrest in hospital. He was kept on a ventilator for a week but we were told as a family that he had suffered a devastating brain injury that he would not recover from.

The consultant at hospital told us that they currently know so little about the brain, so every penny we can raise will go towards research into saving other lives and avoiding families going through the trauma we have.
