In a winter December day, I was looking backward into 2016 and I found that I progressed well in my PhD in optimal health however 2016 will stay a sad stamp in my whole life. On 4th July 2016, I lost the most precious person in my life, my dad. The most caring, loving, brave, knowledgeable, healthy and handsome dad ever. Suddenly, cancer took him away. Took his strength, his pride long stand and his smile. Cancer was so harsh and sharply took everything away even his strong voice. On the top of all this unequal battle, cancer couldn't take his proud look into my eyes or his proud voice pitch when pointing toward me and talking about my research. He is not here anymore to tell him about my little research achievements. For this reason, for his memorial and for all the smiles, gifts and kisses he used to give me when I get excellent grades, I'm running 10k to fund world cancer research UK in London 29 May 2017. This won't be an easy challenge as I never did running for long distance and it will require 2 months of intensive training. Beside doing my PhD, I'm going to sacrifice all my free time and weekends to train intensively to successfully achieve 10k run. Because no one should suffer from cancer when its preventable. Together, my hard work and your support and donation NOW to fund cancer research, we going to beat cancer. #TeamCanPrevent. Please share the page
