Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving On Saturday 17th March I will be taking part in a White Collar Boxing event at the Grand in Brighton.
2017 wasn't the best year for my family and 2018 marked a fresh start. I fancied a new challenge so when this opportunity presented itself I thought it was just what I needed. As well as providing me with a new focus, the most important part of this event is raising money for Cancer Research UK. You are in the minority if your life hasn't crossed paths in some way with this terrible illness. Cancer Research UK strive to bring forward the day when all cancers are prevented or cured.
Many of you will be aware that I am not the most coordinated person, the term cack-handed doesn't really do me justice! This is the first obstacle that I am over coming; managing my hands, feet and upper body at once! Boxing and cardio training lasts for 8 weeks by which point I should be ring fit and ready to complete the fight.
Every penny raised will support Cancer Research UK in the critical work they do. If anyone would like to attend the event please let me know and we can organise tickets.
Any contribution means a lot but for £50 sponsorship you can get a mention on the night and advertise your companies name on the back of my shirt. I will do my best not to spend most the fight on my back!
Thanks for your support.
