Thames Path Challenge 2017 · 9 September 2017 to 10 September 2017 ·

The Racehorse Sanctuary is dedicated to ex-racehorses who through no fault of their own need rehabilitation or rescue. We specialise in retraining thoroughbreds before finding them new loving homes for life. Those horses who cannot be re-homed are cared for by dedicated staff at the Sanctuary.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my latest JustGiving page.  After my second hip resurfacing, my daughter Alison is encouraging me to tackle the fourth stage of the Thames Path Challenge on Saturday 9 September 2017.  She is joining me to walk the 22 kilometers from Cookham to Henley-on-Thames and we have formed a team: Warrior's Angels so our Wavertree friends and other supporters of the Sanctuary can join us.

To join Warrior's Angels on this occasion, please visit the Thames Path Challenge website, join after choosing the Charity Fundraising option, then the Join and Exisiting Team option; The Racehorse Sanctuary is a listed charity under the Animals category.

Otherwise please donate generously to support the essential work of the Sanctuary, exemplified by the rehabilitation of the lovely ex-racehorse Wavertree Warrior.

Or TEXT: CTOH77 £10 to 70070 and do not forget to authorise Gift Aid, if you are a tax payer.
