Fundraising for Yorkshire Cancer Research
Story
We’re getting ready to roll on this year’s Yorkshire and North East charity
challenge! On September 3rd, a Wates team of 14 will set off from
Selby as part of the Three Swans Sportive. Between us, we’ll be cycling over 700 miles through the beautiful (and hopefully not too breezy) North Yorkshire countryside, to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Many of us have been affected by cancer, either personally or through someone close to us, and we would like to do what we can to help fund the vital research needed to find a cure.
YCR fund world-class research to help cancer patients in Yorkshire. We think it’s a great cause – what’s more, Wates Giving, our charitable programme run by the Wates Family Enterprise Trust, will be match funding us up to £250 each.
