Thank you for visiting my page! As you might already be aware I am running a “Weight and Date of Baby Skye” challenge to raise money for the Greater Manchester Youth Network.

I am pregnant with a little baby girl that we have decided to call Skye and she's expected to make an appearance in August . The way this is going to work is:

You have to guess the weight and the date of birth of baby Skye (add this to your comments on your donation)

£2 per guess

Once baby is born, the person whose guess is closest to the real
thing will win a prize!

Prizes include: 

- A half term of baby or toddler classes at Gee Cross provided by Boom {www.bloomwellbeing.co.uk} - worth up to £45! 

- A personalised box frame by Detailed Surprises {Facebook: @detailedsurprisesgifts}

- A £10 voucher for Eat At 21 (Hyde) {Facebook: @eatat21}

Here is what you need to do:

1. Have a guess at the weight and date of birth of baby Skye

2. £2 minimum donation per go

3. Add your guess to your comment on your donation

4. E-mail me with your name and contact details (e-mail/phone number) once you have donated - please add your guess (weight and date of birth) into this e-mail if you have remained anonymous when donating to the JustGiving page.

Rules:

1. As there are a few prizes available, these will be allocated to those people whose guess is closest to the real weight and date of birth of baby.

2. The person with the closest guess will get first choice of prize and so on.

3. The closest guess will be determined by date of birth first and weight second.

4. If there are joint winners – name will be picked out of a hat.

Winners will be announced and contacted once baby Skye makes an appearance.

I weighed about 8 lbs at birth and my partner - about 6.6 lbs

Here's my story (because I know how brilliant GMYN is from first hand experience!) ... 

Before I started working for GMYN as an Admin Apprentice in June 2016, I was struggling with mental health issues - borderline personality
disorder, OCD traits and terrible anxiety! Simply put -I had lost my way
and was fighting a battle that seemed impossible to win! I was struggling every day to find a reason to continue to live... I was lucky enough to have a wonderful partner, family and friends that supported me through this hard time! 

I was also lucky to stumble upon one of the programmes that GMYN helps to deliver and become a part of it and get the extra support I needed at a vulnerable time for me! 

Nearly a year into my job at GMYN, with the help of a very supportive network at work, I have grown to be a confident young woman who’s looking forward to each and every day! This charity has helped me find myself and most of all reach a point in my life where I feel I am making a difference. I can now truly say I have a purpose and when I look back on the hard times, I don’t regret any of it – I instead see it as something that needed to happen to get me where I am today. I was one of the many young people that this inspirational charity helps every day!
