Wellbeing Service at The Linda McCartney Centre is raising money for Liverpool University Hospitals Charity

Providing Therapies to patients, carers and staff · 11 March 2022

Liverpool University Hospitals Charity raises funds to purchase specialist equipment and improve facilities for patients and staff at the Royal, Aintree and Broadgreen University Hospitals.

Story

The Wellbeing Service at the Linda McCartney Centre is volunteer led and provides a complementary therapy service for cancer patients and their main carers who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis. The service was officially opened in 2015 and we have supported many thousands of patients and carers since then.

After what has been one of the most challenging periods in NHS history, the volunteer therapists were allowed to return to the hospital in 2022 pledging to support their NHS colleagues.

"They stepped up to the mark to care for us when it mattered; the least we can do as therapists to repay them, is be there for them!", said Dionne Henry, Lead Volunteer Therapist.

Your support will help us to provide therapies and support to our patients, their carers and our staff.

Please support us to support them.

Thank you
