Welly's JTYAF charity abseil event - Junior Leaders 16

JTYAF charity abseil event - Junior Leaders 16 · 2 March 2015
Hello all! I'm Welly and I'm currently involved in leadership course called junior leaders which helps develop leadership and management skills in young people through a military fashion.
As part of the junior leaders course, each student is required to organise, risk assessess and run a fund raising project to raise money for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.
John Thornton himself was a student of the junior leaders course and was awarded top student at the time. However, he was sadly killed in action in Afghanistan, aged 22, as a royal Marines officer.
The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation was set up in his honour and the junior leaders course still helps to support the charity.
I have therfore been organising a charity abseil event, which the local air cadets of 62 (2nd Glasgow) sqn will participate in.
The minimum value per student to be raised is £250. Which is why I've decided to set myself the target of achieving a minimum of £500 for the charity.
We will need all of your kind help and support to achieve this fantastic goal so please donate whatever you can. Thank you
