Our Charity funds are running low as more and more families affected by Autism (and other disabilities / additional needs) are registering with us for support and guidance through the complex journey of parenting, education, social care and health.
It was 13 years ago that I was part of a group of like-minded parents all struggling and battling with school exclusions, discrimination and isolation. Meeting up at a SEN Workshop, we decided to make a difference and set up a support group (now a registered Charity) to help all parents in the same position, working together to improve outcomes for all families affected by Autism (and other disabilities / additional needs).
As a parent to my amazing son James, now 17 and approaching adulthood, life is still full of new challenges but also fun and alot of love.
Our Charity need funds to run important services: helpline, information meetings, talks service, website / social media information, leisure and sporting activities, monthly family play sessions, family trips and much more! Families contact us in very challenging situations and we provide a lifeline to get them back on track and in the right direction, with on-going support, along with the feeling of togetherness and belonging.
We are a completely self funded charity relying on donations and fund raising. Please donate. Thank you!
