Mary’s meals aims to provide chronically hungry children that have suffered war, famine, poverty or natural disaster with one meal a day in school. In this way the children are encouraged to gain the education that can lift them out of poverty in later life.  Mary’s Meals also runs a backpack project whereby backpacks are filled with the basic educational material to send to the children attending the school. Marys meals also runs a school building project.

Our aim is to raise the remaining £2000 to complete a second school in Malawi and provide a back pack for each of the children who will attend.

It's £6.15 to feed one child for a whole year!! This is your lunch money, a drink, a packet of cigarettes!! Yep I'm as much at fault as everyone else but this statistic really blew me away. Please give what you can as these children are desperate.
