Story

Pete and John are taking part in the Half Super Hero Tri which is a 400m open water swim, 10k bike and 2.5k push at Dorney Lake on Saturday 18th August at 11am.  Pete is the Superhero and John is his Sidekick.

============

Pete was born with an astrocytoma in his spinal cord.  Basically a growth that has impacted his physical abilities.  Pete has been paralysed from chest down for the last 20 years and restricted mobility in his hands.

Pete's physical impairment has never impaired his ambition.  He's an accomplished artist -  completing much of his work by painting with the brush in his mouth.  He's in the process of completing a Masters in creative writing, he has travelled the world and has multiple goals to challenge him self both physically and mentally.  And he's got the ability to make us all cry with laughter.

He ain't heavy.  He's my brother.  He's my hero.
