Here's a quick update. All four of us managed to complete the run on a warm and sunny day - it was really good fun, and inspiring to see so many women and girls running for such an array of good causes.

Many thanks for all your donations. We know you all get inundated with requests, and are really grateful to you for supporting our endeavours.

We shall be raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK to aid their fight for a cure, and support those who suffer from it. Pancreatic cancer is terrible: it has the worse survival rate of any cancer - and 80% of those diagnosed will die within a year. It is the fifth most common form of cancer and yet gets only 1% of UK cancer research funding in the UK. For more information please visit www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk

We shall be running in memory of our lovely friend Anne Durrant, who died in June 2011, having battled extraordinarily hard against cancer.
