I’ve chosen to fundraise for Bliss because I want to make a real difference to the 95,000 babies born premature or sick every year. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.

My waters broke wih Harvey at 33+3 and he came hours later, a lovely 5.7lb but still weak and unable to feed, he was tube fed for a week before we managed to slowly transfer to breastfeeding. He was jaundice for 2 weeks and in a special bed with lights and heel pricked every other day to keep checking his bilarubin levels. The staff at bassetlaw Hospital were absolutely amazing with every aspect of our care. I simply cannot thank them enough for everything and long may they continue to help others.
