I wanted to make this 98 mile/ 9455ft sufferfest actually count for something other than a marker of pain on my cycling CV! Fortunately I wont be alone for this epic ride through the Peak District, accompanied by friends with a shared interest in cycling and pain, we hope to finish this ride. (*Note - no mention of a target time! We're being realistic!)

Sarah (My better half!) has worked with this charity to help promote the positive things that the hospital does, and has witnessed first hand the exceptional level of care that they provide to patients and their families.  

I'm raising money specifically for The Big Appeal, this campaign is raising funds for state-of-the-art equipment for Nottingham Children's Hospital to help diagnose children’s illnesses earlier and more accurately, as well as providing families with a comfortable ‘home from home’ so they can stay close-by while their child is receiving care.
