War Child is striving for a world in which no child's life is torn apart by war. We protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living in war zones across the world. Your support today will help us reach even more children in need.

Story

THERE ARE 2 MILLION SYRIAN CHILD REFUGEES. The villages of Burley-in-Wharefdale and Menston  have come together, as one community, to raise funds to provide sustainable and intensive support to the most marginalised and vulnerable children and young people. We have set a challenge of raising an initial £5,000 to help the charity "War Child"  deliver their vital work in war-torn Syria and other areas where children are affected by conflict.

War Child is a small, international charity that  provides support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war.  For more information, please visit www.warchild.org.uk

On behalf of "Wharfedale Refugee Response", thank you in advance for your interest and support.
