Hereford Half Marathon & 10K/5K Run 2015 · 10 May 2015 ·

We provide a range of services in Herefordshire and the surrounding area to people living with a terminal illness. Care is free to patients, their families and carers. This is thanks to supporters taking part in events, visiting our shops, playing our Lottery, donating and leaving gifts in wills.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group of 3 self propelling wheelchair users and two able bodied runner who met through attending fitness classes with Wheely Good Fitness.  Having progressed in our overall fitness levels and abilities we collectively decided to enter this year's Hereford Half Marathon - a first for many of us and something we never thought we would do. In December 2014 we started a training regime to progress further and prepare for this event. Whilst we are raising money for charity we also hope that our participation will inspire other wheelchair users and people with disabilities to challenge perceptions and push boundaries.

This event is organised by St Michael's Hospice who's modern approach to hospice care ensures individuals have a supported, positive and as independent experience as possible when they need it the most.

Any amount is appreciated and we thank you for your support.
