Story

Who Roams The World...Girls, well Women in this case! Me and a four other women are setting out on an adventure to climb the National Three Peaks and cycle the 700+ km between them.

This teams consists of 5 women: Jess, Mary Anne, Julie, Bexy and Kate. We are a group of women who love a challenge and an adventure and would like to inspire others to take on a challenge too.

A couple of years ago I noticed on the three peaks challenges website that there was no cycling record set for a solo female attempt or a female team. So i set about finding a group of Women who would take on this mammoth challenge. We are five Women who want to promote and inspire more girls and women to take up cycling, hiking, running, adventure and what better way to do it that by setting a three peaks cycling challenge all women's team record.

So at the end of August we are going to not only climb the three peaks (Snowdon, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis) but we are going to cycle the 700+ km distance that lies between them. We plan to do this over 4-5 days.

We wanted to raise money for a Women's charity and during the difficult last 6 months we have had we could think of no better that supporting Women's Aid. This is a charity that helps women and their families up and down the country. They work to provide life-saving services and build a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated. They aim to keep going until all women and children are safe. Through the last 6 months they need our support now more than ever.

In this difficult time if you have some spare money please could you donate what you can. However we are aware at this difficult time you may not have any money to spare we ask that you could share our page and promote Women's Aid.

Thank you
