I am Will Banes and I plan to run the 2015 Brighton Marathon on April 12th, 2015. I will be running for Samaritans, a UK based suicide hotline. I recently lost a friend, he took his own life. While I may not have been one of his closest friends, he had a profound effect on me. He was a great mentor and helped me a lot throughout the last two summers, always helping and always making things more fun.

I have set my fundraising target at £2,000 for the race. I enjoy running, but I am not the most naturally gifted runner, so I guess, in terms of the race, we will just have to wait and see what happens.
