Josh and I entered Liverpool half marathon in the new year (sometime during dry Jan... which was almost conquered) and I chose this great charity to raise money for.

Many of us may have relatives or friends affected by cancer. The work Cancer Research does aims to find cures to cancers... and save lives :) so running for this charity is a huge incentive for me to complete the 13 miles as fast as I can! I've never ran this far, so it's a bug'un and will be giving it some beans!!

UPDATE (5th April)
I completed the race in just over 2 hours (and broke my leg whilst doing it///oops).
This happened basically by running on a stress fracture (undiagnosed). I ran through excruciating pain to finish the race, but at the final stretch (literally 50 yards from the finish) my right tibia fractured. I limped over the line with help from an amazing runner who I can't find to thank. Anyways.... Surgery and hospitals etc means I'll have this ExFix contraption wrapped around my leg for 5 months. Gutting! But not going to let it slow me down!
