Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

My name is William, I started my Just Giving page when I was 11 and reached my target of £5,000 as part of the Prostate Cancer UK - “ Men United” which I am member.   Thanks to my family and friends I have managed to raise this money to help men like my dad who died of Prostate Cancer.  When I started my fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK, my dad was very proud of what I was doing and helped me with my 2 x 10,000 pennies challenge

After my dad died,  I was challenged to collect 10,000 pound coins, but I don't know 10,000 people so I  decided to raise my target to £10,000 instead.

Last year, sadly my dad was one of the 10,000 men who died of Prostate Cancer.    I want to help stop this happening and I am grateful for all the support I have from family and friends who continue to help me do this.
