350km in 30 days

350km in 30 days · 1 November 2022
Throughout the month of November I will be attempting to beat my previous best tally of miles run in a month. This was a distance of around 215 miles (346km in March 2019). This is just under 12 km a day and the aim in November is to break the 350km mark. Part of the plan is to run sections of the south downs way (100 miles in distance) and completing the whole route throughout the month.
I am undertaking this in memory of Maddy Lawrence and the charity that has been set up in her name, Maddy’s mark. Maddy sadly passed away in March, aged 20, after suffering from a rugby injury, whilst playing for her university rugby team. The charity has been set up to support two great causes: Women’s rugby and mental health. Any donations you are able to provide to help this amazing cause would be greatly appreciated.
Please have a quick look at the links below as well which talk a little more about the charity.
Thanks,
Will
