The Asda Foundation is Asda's charitable company. The Foundation will act as a holding account for Tickled Pink so all money can be collected and given to Breast Cancer Care, registered no. 1017658 (60%) and Breast Cancer Campaign, registered no. 299758 (40%).

Story

In just a matter of days, four of our Asda Property colleagues will be heading across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland.

The team will be visiting every single Asda store in Northern Ireland, by bicycle, in just 4 days. All in celebration of the first anniversary of Asda’s Community Life programme in Northern Ireland and in recognition of the fantastic work of our colleagues, day in day out, in the communities in which they serve. Our stores in Northern Ireland have already raised £371,076 this year for local charities including £50,000 for the NI Hospice and £35,000 for the Transplant Games.

They’ll travel a total of 337 miles over the four days…

The colleagues taking part are:

Duncan MacPhail

Will Smith

Lynn  Scott

Colin Sangster

ASDA’s Tickled Pink campaign benefits two breast cancer charities – Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign. We will also be collecting sponsorship for Orchid, which exists to save men’s lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers through pioneering research and promoting awareness. Our colleagues in NI will be raising money for PIPS, a local charity that delivers suicide prevention and bereavement support services and therapies across Belfast and throughout Northern Ireland.

We need all the support you can give us, as we celebrate the work of our fantastic colleagues in NI, and raise funds for these great causes.
