My name is William and this term, whilst remote learning at home, my headmaster asked me to set myself a challenge. I also found out that one of my friend's parents has cancer and I was very sad but wanted to do something to help. 

My Uncle Martin also recently lost his mum to cancer and both my parents have friends who have cancer at the moment or have recently beaten it. 

For my challenge I decided I am going to walk the North Downs Way, from Farnham to Guildford and back, for Cancer Research to raise money to help find a cure and look after people who have it. 

The walk is 20 miles/38km and it will be a real challenge for me as it will be the furthest I have walked. Daddy is walking with me and Mummy and my sister are doing the training walks too! I am going to do the actual walk on Sunday 20th September 2020 and hope you will sponsor me to help me reach my target and raise money for such a good cause.
