Our lovely daughter Julie died in January of this year having just turned 33 years old. She had fought hard against her cancer remaining positive right to the end. In her memory I wanted to do something to support the fight against this cruel, indiscriminate disease so I shall be walking the John Muir Way from Helensburgh to Dunbar (134 miles) starting on 29 August 2015. I plan to complete the walk in 7.5 days which will be a challenge to someone who has not previously been a serious walker. However, I am confident that with the support of family and friends, especially my wife Rosemary, I can do this. My target is to raise at least £3000 for Cancer Research and I shall really appreciate any donation you can make to support me.
