The Cardinal Hume Centre supports homeless young people, badly housed families and people from the local community with little or no income. We aim to give people the skills, tools and confidence to break out of poverty and build better lives. People matter.Your support will make a difference.

Story

The Chaplaincy Reps of Worth School would like to invite each of you to donate to the Cardinal Hume Centre this lent to help the current homelessness crisis facing the UK. In London, homelessness has risen by 33% during the pandemic. During the pandemic they have been overwhelmed by the demand they are facing at this time. They need our help. Please help by sponsoring the Chaplaincy Reps and a few of our Forerunners as they ‘Sleep out to help out’ at home, sacrificing a goodnight’s sleep in order to raise money for this worthy cause.

Or we encourage you to make a small sacrifice each week this lent by donating £2.50 each week. In the spirit of lent, maybe you can donate the money saved from refraining from small luxuries such as chocolate, ice cream or sweets. If every student at Worth donates £10 over the course of this lent, we could raise at least £6000, and we can raise even more if we get staff and parents involved. So let’s come together to combine our small sacrifices to make a big difference!
