The Charity Challenge ride takes place in Vietnam, where we will cover more than 450 km visiting some of the most fascinating places that the country has to offer, from Hanoi in the North to Ho Chi Minh City in the South

Having started by exploring Hanoi we had down to Hue, dominated by majestic temples, ancient tombs, and the imperial citadel. From Hue we ride to Hoi Ann, a 16th century trading town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Hoi Ann we cycle along quiet back roads to My Son, which was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty. The ride continues along the coast via the Marble Mountains to Danang and on to Nha Trang with miles of prime beach. Finally we reach Ho Chi Minh City where we celebrate our achievement.

During the cycling days we cycle distances which range from 35 to 100 km per day in 4-6 hours. Part of the ride is on dirt tracks and quite challenging especially the ride to the famous Cham Towers of the UNESCO Heritage Site , My Son Sanctuary in Day 6, and the 60km ascent to Dalat in Day 8.
