We Raise fund for victims of ISIS genocide to to help them to recover to normal life

Story

We are cycling around the beautiful Island of Arran to try and raise some funds for the NGO Yazda who doing really wonderful and extremely difficult work for minorities facing horrendous difficulties. People who have had to flee their homes in order to escape terror. People who have witnessed unimaginable crimes against humanity and now face lives with no health care, no education, little food or the means to support themselves. People like you and me living in Refugee and IDP camps. There's no end in sight, hope is fading. Let's try and give even just a little bit of hope xx

About the charity

Yazda
RCN 471722806
Yazda is a global organization that strives to bring justice, sustenance, healing & rejuvenation to Yazidis & other vulnerable ethno-religious minorities. Yazda was founded in 2014 by Yazidi students and professionals in response to the genocide that began on August 3, 2014, by ISIS. Yazda is a registered nonprofit and tax-deductible in the US, Germany, Iraq, Sweden, UK and Australia. Yazda wants to bring ISIS militants to justice for its crimes against Yazidis and other minorities. This is why we have launched an international campaign to pursue legal accountability for ISIS's crimes. A team of lawyers led by the international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney is supporting Yazda in this mission. Yazda is leading a global advocacy campaign to raise awareness and bring international attention to the Genocide.   Yazda supports victims like Nadia Murad and other survivors of ISIS sexual slavery to deliver their message to the world that ISIS crimes must be investigated and to condemn extremists for their evil acts. Yazda's team is on the ground in Iraq supporting victims directly, providing urgent psychosocial, medical, educational and humanitarian support. Yazda documents regarding ISIS crimes against civilians so that there is a record that can be used in court in the future.
