Yeovil Opportunity Group is a charity that is leading the way in pre-school education for children and families with additional needs in Yeovil. 

YOG was founded by a paediatrician and a social worker 50 years ago, as they saw a need for therapy and learning through play and family support for children with special needs, age 0-5 years.

They provide specialist care and education at a ratio of 1:1- 1:3 to support children in their learning and development.

YOG receives the same funding as any other preschool setting, but their costs are much greater. Therefore the vast majority of their funding comes through charitable donations- which have been hit hard during Covid19.

The paediatric department will be donating Miles that we plan to walk/ cycle/ run/ row/ swim during the month of December, in exchange for sponsorship. See the update below for our running total of miles pledged.
