For many parents, having a sick baby is a very stressful and frightening time. I want to help support families who are thrown into unexpected turmoil when their newborn baby is premature, under developed and very ill. For some parents, giving up work may not be an option, as there are still bills to pay. 

I hope by fund raising for Bliss Charity I can help to provide some peace of mind for parents through financial support. It will help to pay for travel to hospital  and accommodation for parents who need to be close to their sick baby. 

Four years ago, my dear friend George lost her baby daughter Raffaella soon after birth. George survived a life threatening delivery only to find that her baby had passed away. I am also running in memory of baby Raffaella. I am sure in her spirit, Raffy will be supporting me all the way!
