Sadly on Wednesday 19th December 2018, Mum was taken from us after a short battle with cancer. We have set this page up as we have had so many people asking  to send flowers and cards but we know our beautiful kind mum would say she would much rather the money went to a cause so close to her heart, The Friends Of Richardson Hospital. Mum was a friend of the hospital herself for many years and served as Vice Chairman and Chairman up until very recently. She took so much pleasure from helping others and this feels like a fitting last tribute to the remarkable lady she was. Richardson’s Hospital and in particular the staff on Starling ward, nursed Mum in her final weeks with a care and compassion that was second to none.  They supported us as a family and helped us through one of the hardest times we have ever faced as a family. Mum loved Richardson’s and they loved her and it showed. Please donate whatever you can, every penny will help the friends continue the fantastic work they do and provide a legacy for Mum
