Story
Thank you to everyone who had supported my walk and helped me raise for fantastic cause. My cousin and I managed to raise over £1600 in total which is an incredible amount!
Toughest part: The last 20km - The lack of sleep and the swelling of our hands and feet made this final leg very difficult but I couldn't of got it through without the my cousin getting me through it.
Scariest part: Getting lost in an East London Estate where some young men in cars were recreating a scene from "The Fast and the Furious".
Prettiest part: Greenwich at sunrise was truly breathtaking
Ugliest part: Deptford and Rotherhithe – mainly because it came straight after the prettiest part!
Most annoying part: finding out that Jonathan Dimbleby (aged 70 yrs) had finished 3 hrs before us and came No1 out of team of 100 athletes despite having had hip replacement surgery a few months ago.
Best part: St Katherine's dock, Lots of handsome young men (albeit drunk) coming to our rescue at various junctures of the walk where we found ourselves conveniently lost, Thanks you to the young lads of Wapping!
To sum it all up: It was a challenging 13 hours but an incredible journey & Thank You for helping us raise money for St Thomas's & Guys Hospital Cancer Care units.
Thank you all!! xx
