Only just over half of people interviewed in a recent survey were aware of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, but

Yemen is home to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis today – with 22.2 million people in urgent need of humanitarian aid.      

The nation has been left devastated after nearly four years of conflict, with  three-quarters of Yemenis unable to access safe water, food, healthcare or sanitation.       

The people of Yemen are facing multiple crises, including armed conflict, displacement, disease and a risk of famine.       

Tearfund's partners in Yemen are working tirelessly in very difficult circumstances to reach those suffering the most. They are providing safe drinking water and food for vulnerable households, and improving access to healthcare and hygiene advice to reduce the spread of deadly disease.
