Although I am a big fan of Path to Possibilities' work, I last ran this race about four or five years ago. Every year since then,  I've said to myself "I'll do it this time." But, out of fear of being rejected by potential sponsors, particularly those who kindly donated to the cause the last time I participated,  I seem to always chicken out!  This year though, I asked myself. "What is the worst that could happen?" Well, I guess it is that people won't give.  However. If you don't ask you won't get. Right?

So, here I am in 2015, planning to put my all into supporting a fantastic organisation, whose only aim is to give one of the most important gifts to as many talented, yet disadvantaged Nigerians - A Sound Seconry School Education.  I have therefore registered to partake in this year's 10k race (God help me!)

Path to Possibilities has, and continues to assist children with great potential, who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend good secondary schools. They do this through assisting with scholarships. They also share best teaching practises and undertake other projects to improve the education offered by Nigerian state schools. 

As you can appreciate, these initiatives require large funding, a lack of which would hinder the organisation's objective.  

P2P relies solely on donation/sponsorship/participation from you and me. So I implore you to partake on this journey by either sponsoring me  or registering yourself in the 5k or 10k run to help put a smile on faces of many more talented but disadvantaged children.
