Eastbourne to Paris · 25 March 2017

East Sussex WRAS was established as a voluntary group in 1996, but founder Trevor Weeks has been rescuing wildlife since 1985. The charity was set up to provide a front-line rescue & hospital service for people finding wildlife casualties as well as offering advice and information.

Story

I've always wanted to visit Paris, so thought why not cycle there?

I've volunteered at WRAS and they are an amazing charity! Everyone works extremely hard for every casualty admitted into their care. They are constantly on call, all hours of the day and night.

They are always in desperate need of new equipment, so I want to try and raise as much as I can by doing this bike ride.

Myself and Nila, are cycling 13 miles from Eastbourne to Newhaven, catching the ferry across to Dieppe Saturday morning, then onwards to Paris.

We've worked out we will be cycling 48 miles Saturday, 60 miles Sunday and the last 25 miles Monday morning. Giving us some time to be tourists in beautiful Paris and have a few croissants 😋

Any donations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, and please share, share, share :)
