Story
Starting on or after the 11th of this month (COVID dependant for some members) 11 of us will be running/ walking/ cycling 11km a day for 11 days in support of the Royal British Legion (RBL).
Our members include:
Izzy Howe, Freddie Saint, Felix Trevithick, Louis Fitzgerald Newman, Will Gray, Charlie Lewis, Luke Dyde, Tom Williams, Zoë Murnaghan, Major Hutchinson and Captain Booth.
We will be doing this in remembrance of all those currently serving, those injured and also those who selflessly gave their lives for their country. Unfortunately, due to the current climate, traditional RBL fundraising efforts have been adversely affected and so it is more important than ever to support our Armed Forces community.
If you have been unable to buy a poppy this year, or if you are looking for a good cause to donate to, then we'd all be extremely appreciative of the support.
Underneath is some more information about the RBL if you are interested:
This year RBLI is celebrating 100 years of delivering vital support to vulnerable veterans & people with disabilities. Right now for every person we can help, there’s one we can’t. That’s why we need people like you; with more funding, we can grow our village, support more people who need us & help them to find their purpose again. We enable the people we support take steps towards independence through housing, Step In, skills training, our leading employability course LifeWorks & in both of our Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Companies.
