We are a nomadic touring veterans hockey club called The Yorkies, made up of players from 9 different UK and Ireland hockey clubs. As a club, we are 32 years old and what started as a fun moment one evening during lockdown, has turned into a serious opportunity to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.

We have created a calendar in the style of the ‘Calendar Girls’ which we are selling separately and this page will allow for those that would like to donate to the cause rather than purchasing a calendar. 

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK.

Every 45 minutes one man dies from prostate cancer. Yes every 45 minutes!

Funding is making a real difference helping to buy essential equipment and funding research that has helped one Yorkie who had a robotic operation to remove the cancer in 2019.

The funding is working so please give generously.
