Story

200km from Paris to Deauville on the 22/06/2013 will give us the time to think about what really matters in life.

The conflict in Syria has resulted in a severe and worsening emergency. More than a million refugees have fled into neighbouring countries, most of which are children, with an estimated 5,000 people leaving Syria each day. Those that have fled are in desperate need of shelter, food and water.

Kareem Sharawi (@vodafone.com) who heads the Global Biking Initiative in the UK started all this. He is riding 950km - from Paris to Dusseldorf on the 30/06 for 7 days - and I can only advise you to join this GBI organised event if you are brave enough. Find more information about GBI here http://www.gbi-event.org/.
