Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since its launch in the summer of 2009, Durham County Cricket Foundation has had an immeasurable impact on thousands of people in the region as it aims to provide inspiration, motivation and raised self-esteem to our local community using the power of sport.

The Foundation’s programmes look to use the inspiring venue and setting of the Emirates Riverside and the winning team of Durham County Cricket Club to inspire learning and personal development.
These projects are not just undertaken in Durham, but can be right across the region, including Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Cleveland and Cumbria.

Durham County Cricket Foundation aims to support the communities in the region by delivering unique programmes that use the resources Durham CCC has to offer with an international sporting facility, the unique match-day experience and the opportunity to meet professional cricketers who are excellent role models for the young people.

If you could spare as little as £10 to sponsor me in my 13 mile run (something I’ve never done before) it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Ythan Sale
