Story
My mum always tells me how she grew up watching the first Shaukat Khan Memorial Hospital being built in Lahore and was involved in fundraising for it whilst at school.
I now want to help too with the construction of the third cancer hospital in Karachi.
Pakistan is a big country, and patients travel from all over for treatment to the current hospitals in Lahore and Peshawar. Many of these people, who are forced to travel long distances, have already lost too much time when they reach the hospitals in Lahore or Peshawar. An early diagnosis is vital to curing cancer. That’s why IKCA is on a mission to bring free cancer care to the poorest people in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city and the 12th largest globally.
Help me raise some money for IKCA and reap the blessings of your charity in this life and the hereafter, insha’Allah.
