Dogs become part of your family and when they become ill it
can be heart breaking to watch them suffer and not know how to help them.   Fudge was a healthy active 8-year-old English
Springer Spaniel who loved to run and chase a ball.   It was typical Sunday run with Fudge, like hundreds we had done before however that evening I know something was wrong with Fudge
he had become  lethargic and sad.  The following day Fudge was no better so I  took him to the vet on what I thought would be a routine visit, very quickly I realised that this was much more serious than I had ever expected.  Fudge was diagnosed with a life changing illness Mediated Haemolytic Anaemia.  Even worse was to come, we were told that if Fudge did not have a blood transfusion, quickly he would not survive the week.

Today Still with a serious illness and after a long traumatic journey Fudge is once again enjoying his runs (not as far now though).  Neither Ray or I had heard of the PET BLOOD BANK but If it had not been for PET BLOOD BANK Fudge would not be with us today.  There might be a time when you too may need their help for you dog
