Story
In November 2019 I booked a place on a trip with friends to trek to Everest Base Camp. The trip has been postponed twice, the friends have all dropped out but this year I’m finally going.
I’ve been asked if I was fundraising and for such a massive challenge it seemed a wasted opportunity if I didn’t. I decided to support Action Bladder Cancer because this specific cancer has claimed two of my family. We lost my dad 10 years ago, and complications following surgery 3 years ago led to the loss of my brother Roger just before Christmas.
Action Bladder Cancer are a small charity, helping people to adapt after bladder cancer surgery. The last few years have been very tough for charities and the smaller ones are often overlooked. All donations, no matter how big or small, will be gratefully received. Thank you.
