Zach was diagnosed with MPNST Sarcoma cancer  in Sept 2013 followed by an above knee amputation of his left leg  to remove the primary site. Unfortunately it had metastasised into his lungs. Following 14 months of Chemo he succumbed peacefully to the illness on January 31^st  2015 at 18.35.

He fought long and hard and managed to achieve many things on his “to do” list, including going to the US to visit his brother in New York, shooting at Bisley, obtaining full membership of the Seal Rifle and Pistol club, returning to driving, and much more. CLIC SARGENT helped financially to make some of his dreams come true.
