Zac is a 9 year old boy from Whitchurch Shropshire where he goes to the junior school He has cerebral palsy, this means that zacs hips , knees and anckles are stiff and that walking is a daily struggle for him. Zac attends a mainstream school and uses a walking frame on a daily basis to walk around. He loves playing football with his friends and attends cerebral palsy football sessions in shrewsbury. He has been picked multiple times to be their mascot and to fly the flag. Zac has also helped out at fund raising events for the wingate special children's trust and appeared on something special a number of years ago. Zac has now been given to opportunity to have a life changing operation called Selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) is an operation used to improve spasticity ( muscle stiffness) in cerebral palsy with lots of hard work and determination the possibility to walk pain free and with little assistance. This operation is not available on the NHS which means that we need to help Zac raise £40,000 to make his dream of walking come true! Any amount donated will make a huge difference to Zacs life. Let's make zacs dream come true and help him to walk!
