السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎
As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa-raḥmatu llāhi wa-barakātuhu
(Peace be upon you as well as God's mercy and blessings.)

‎إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون- “Surely, we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return."
On 21st March 2023, my beloved grandma Muazzema Bano returned to Allah.
May Allah shine the brightest light in her grave and grant her the highest rank of Jannah. 

My grandmother was a woman who was loving and caring and always looked out for everyone selflessly. She was loved by many and smiled triumphantly through her hardest of times.

Building this 2 bedroom home is so important as a home is such a basic necessity  and is such an important place for every being. To honour my late grandmother, I would like to build a 2 bedroom house in Syria.

The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said, “Four things are part of happiness: a righteous spouse, a spacious dwelling, a righteous neighbor, and a comfortable mount.”: Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 4032.

In Islam building a house would be an act of continuous charity( Sadaqah Jariyah). “Verily, the believers are like bricks of a building, each part strengthening the other.” Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). To be able to provide this support to those who are more vulnerable and homeless due to this disaster, gives us an opportunity to act and help and please allow this to be a source of good deeds to ourselves and my grandmother.
