David Stickland, Joint CEO of Zappaty, is a huge cycling enthusiast and has set himself a new challenge to take on the 3 Pistes Cycle Sportive to raise vital funds for GamesAid.
In a short number of years the 3 Pistes Cycle Sportive has turned into an iconic, classic event. Over 1000 riders tackle the 103 mile course that takes in 3 Scottish ski centres (Glenshee, Lecht, Cairngorm), taking them over 5 of the 6 highest roads in the UK, including 4 long climbs with 20% gradients.
The UK’s highest cycle sportive.
8 categorised climbs,
5 of the UK’s 7 highest roads,
3 ski centres,
102 miles,
1100 entrants,
and lots and lots of stunning views.
"It's a notoriously tough route but I'm confident and have been training and preparing my body for months. As well as setting myself a new personal challenge, I'm really pleased to be able to use this as a way to raise funds for such a worthy cause." David, Joint CEO, Zappaty
David's route will update on the JustGiving page on the day so you can keep track of how he's doing!
