The Bubble Foundation are a charity that raise money for medical advancements for children born with immune deficiancies, as well as on toys and games etc so that these children can lead normal lives as possible.

As someone who was born with Severe Combined Immune Deficiancy Syndrome (a condition where a child is born without an immune system and is unable to fight off infections), and was treated for about three years at the hospital in Newcastle that this charity work with, this organisation is close to my heart, especially when my chances of survival were so slim. I know that they also helped a great deal with my parents, giving them alot of emotional support when they were uncertain about the future. Also, yes, that is me in that photo.

I know I'm not climbing a mountain, or doing a bungey jump or running a marathon, but this is a charity and organisation that helped keep me alive, which I'm extremely grateful for, so instead of gifts this year for my birthday, I'd prefer donations, so that this amazing group of people can help more and more families. I know that my birthday isn't until August, I thought I'd just give you all some early notice and plenty of time :)
