A week today and I will be at the start line of my 5Km Fun Run to raise funds for the " Rose Family Project" at Schneider Childrens Medical Care Centre in Petach Tikvah, Israel.

Orli my eldest grand daughter who is 10 ½ was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 4 months ago. She is now  half-way through her treatment at the hospital and is, thank God, showing good progress and Orli is demonstrating amazing grace and inner strength during this difficult time. I am so proud of her. 

Our family have already experienced the amazing care and support of this wonderful hospital 7 years ago, when Orli's cousin Zeevi aged 1 year at the time, was diagnosed with cancer, and was successfully treated.

I want to thank everyone who has already sponsored me. My friends and family have been truly wonderful and all your support in the merit of Orli's complete recovery is really appreciated.

This project will benefit the children and their families being treated at the hospital. Schneider Children’s Medical Centre is the only hospital of its kind in Israel, and indeed, in the entire Middle East, dedicated exclusively to the treatment and care of  children.
