Fundraising to rebuild the HVP central school in Kathmandu

Fundraising to repair the main block of the HVP School in Kathmandu which was damaged in the 2015 Earthquake · 12 August 2018
This summer I will be volunteering to the Dang region of Kathmandu, teaching English, Social Sciences and Maths to an HVP school there. The school is funded by the charity HVP Nepal which provides accessible education for children of all backgrounds in three schools around the country and subsidies the education costs for those disadvantaged.
Following a 7.9 earthquake in April 2015, one of the buildings in HVP Central was destroyed. Since then, school has continued but in cramped conditions that are unsustainable. Students are being taught in makeshift classrooms and they desperately need more space. All the money fundraised will contribute to the ongoing construction of a new building to replace the one lost.
Education is such an important factor in a child's life and this charity does what it can to make sure that it gets to students in Nepal. Your donations would really make an impact! If you would like to donate, please click on the JustGiving link to take you to the page. Don't forget that if you are a UK taxpayer, you can use Gift Aid to add to your donation.
I will be creating a blog about my time there and will attach the link as soon as it is up so you guys can follow my experiences there :D Thank you for your donations and please message me if you have questions!
