Due to recent global events, the environment has taken a back seat. However, the threat to our seas and wildlife from climate change, pollution and plastic is no less severe. I have seen first hand the damage to our oceans from humankind. (Just watch a David Attenborough documentary if you're not sure what I'm on about!) 

So, to raise a little money for a wonderful charity aiming to save our coral reefs, I am going without cake or chocolate for the month of February. Sounds easy? This is likely to be harder for me than any of my previous challenges, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks in a Day or hiking out of the Grand Canyon! Those of you who know me well will know just how important cake is in my life. This will be quite a mental challenge for me. (Worse for Mike apparently - he says he'll need a support team to get him through my challenge)
